(Salut, Maman!) You may be wondering, so what is this site about? Another pointless reinvention of the proverbial wheel? Possibly. But as IT people especially, we often have a hard time finding answers to questions online--to average questions that must have been posted by somebody, somewhere. And when we find the question, as often as not, the answer is still absent. Some sites are now showing up in Google results sporting the inquiry in good form but reserving the answer for registered members only. We find this out of keeping with the Internet's basic principles. Brain-op is an open yet structured exchange that encourages not only inquiry, but the resolution thereof. This is a commerce of minds, and we feel everyone holds currency. The information on this site is public. Login are required only to add to it, as a matter of logistics.
